A stunning rammed earth inspired finish was created for the concrete furniture within the Canberra Centre's food court, a high traffic setting requiring both striking design and easy ongoingmaintenance.
ECOTONE worked closely with the client through collaboration and sample testing to ensure the custom finish replicated their design intent precisely. A clear protective topcoat was then applied over the finish, giving the concrete long term antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties, effective even in low light and low temperature conditions, alongside enhanced graffiti resistance for fast, easy removal of repeattags.
The result is a design led finish perfectly suited to a busy public food court, combining striking rammed earth aesthetics with hygiene and low maintenance performance built tolast.
