Description
In celebration of and respect to the Dharug First Peoples of Parramatta, this colourful plasterboard artwork by artist Georgia Hall allows for many interpretations of its abstractforms.
ECOTONE applied a concrete grey coating to the plasterboard on Level 5 of Westfield Parramatta, creating a fairfaced concrete look as the background for the artwork. Working closely with the client and artist, ECOTONE ensured the finish achieved the exact concrete tone needed to elevate the artwork's visualimpact.
The result is a striking backdrop that brings the artwork to life, honouring the site's cultural significance through considered colour andfinish.
