477 on Pitt is a revitalisation project in Sydney's Tech Central precinct, turning a dated commercial building into a technology and innovation hub connected to Haymarket's historicfabric.
ECOTONE applied a custom coloured finish to the brickwork to complement the adjacent Capitol Theatre's heritage tones, and a dark layered finish to the granite base. Both surfaces were then protected with a graffiti resistantcoating.
By renewing the existing facade rather than replacing it, the project preserved embodied carbon and reduced waste, blending heritage character with a modern, award winningaesthetic.
