Sirius is a landmark Sydney project, transforming a historic 1970s government housing building into luxury apartments while preserving its original structure, with cleverly designed copper pods added to enhance the building's visual appeal andscale.
ECOTONE's NSW team was initially engaged to colour blend the existing external concrete surface, camouflaging numerous repairs across the facade. As the project developed, this expanded into a full rejuvenation of the entire concrete facade, including custom colouring of the premade fluted internal profile panels. A protective self cleaning coating was then applied over the finish, minimising water ingress and enhancing the building's long term durability and maintenancelifecycle.
The result is a fully restored, cohesive facade that honours the building's heritage while giving it a refined, contemporary finish built tolast.
