Field Street's design called for a striking, multi textured facade, achieved across three distinct surfaces working in concert: uncoated CFC cladding, grey smooth precast panels, and grey brick mouldedprecast.
ECOTONE developed a gold finish with black vertical lines for the CFC cladding, mimicking the rebates of the concrete panels beyond, with matching soffits finished in modern black. The smooth precast panels were completed in a striking black and white contrast across the facade, while the brick moulded precast received a multi colour application to simulate the natural variation of realbrickwork.
For cost and time efficiency, the colour work was completed through a combination of precast yard application and onsite finishing, delivering a cohesive colour identity across every surface of thebuild.
