Canberra Centre (S84 Arcade)

The project was completed with a custom colour finish using ECOTONE Minsil. Our clear coating of ECOCLEAN Clean and Protect Shield was applied to further protect the internal concrete and ensure it stayed clean and easily maintained.

A stunning ECOTONE rammed-earth design was created for the concrete furniture within the Canberra Shopping Centre food court. We worked closely with our clients to ensure our material finish replicated their design intent through collaboration and samples. By coating the finish with our clear ion exchange catalyst, the concrete will have long-term anti-bacterial, anti-virus and anti-fungal benefits even in low light and low-temperature conditions. In addition, the surface will have enhanced graffiti resistance with fast and easy removal of repeat tags. The perfect choice for this project.

The design mission of this precinct at Canberra Centre was to ‘make a statement’, blur the lines between inside and outside, connect the space to the ideals of Canberra as a ‘Garden City’ and to create humanised public spaces.
