BRIEF
Colour Remediation and Restoration

Material & Application

Our NSW team were engaged to colour blend the existing external concrete surface to camouflage the numerous repairs. Our invisible and protective Self-Cleaning Coating system was then applied over the ECOTONE. The works also included colouring the premade fluted internal profile panels in our Soapstone finish from the PanelCrete range.

Outcome

Sirius is a Sydney project which involved transforming the historic 1970s government housing building into luxury apartments while preserving its original structure. Cleverly designed copper pods were added to enhance the visual appeal and overall size of the building. Our team was initially tasked with colour matching the concrete, but as the project developed, we expanded our efforts to rejuvenate the entire concrete façade. This included applying our functional Self-Cleaning Coating, which also protects the concrete and minimizes water ingress, enhancing its durability and maintenance lifecycle.

Testimonial

Sirius is one of many Australian buildings being redeveloped rather than rebuilt. It’s the more difficult and more expensive route to take. But one that will ultimately lead to a harmonious and sustainable new life for the much-loved building.
