The Local – Kensington

We used ECOTONE Matt Plus, applied onsite, to bring about white and natural brick colour finishes to grey brick moulded precast concrete.

The Local Kensington is a stunning build to rent boasting 483 apartments. The design nods to old Kensington with white sculptural archways crafted from grey brick formliner precast concrete coloured using an application of our ECOTONE Matt Plus in a specified creamy white. The natural brick colour finish from Level 1 and up was a colour match to the red brickwork at ground level using ECOTONE Matt Plus using load bearing brick moulded precast concrete. This created a cost and time effective solution for the client.

Applying ECOTONE Matt Plus on The Local Kensington was a game-changer; it not only elevated the aesthetic of the grey precast concrete but also streamlined our workflow, delivering impressive results that truly captured the spirit of the design.
