BRIEF
Colour by Design to Concrete
Material & Application
Following a clean of the dated concrete, our NSW team applied ECOTONE Minsil followed by Porosity Sealer and Self-Cleaning Coating. Application was onsite via ground and MEWP Scissor Lift access.
Outcome
Now serving as Macquarie University’s new administrative function, the concrete facade of 18 Wally’s Walk was restored to bring about a fresh and updated look. Our penetrative coating will provide superior surface colour and bind the surface of the weathered concrete. The concrete was then further protected by applying a coating that self-cleans and reduces concrete carbonation and concrete deterioration. Added benefit is that this photocatalyst coating will purify the air using daylight to decompose airborne pollution that meets the coated surface.
Testimonial
It was a pleasure to be invited back to Macquarie University to work on part of the University Central Courtyard redevelopment. Our NSW team worked hard to restore the concrete facade and give it a fresh and updated look. We are thrilled to have contributed to such a worthwhile project that will enhance the quality of the university’s learning environment.
