Colour by Design to concrete columns
Material & Application
The specified colour finish Cloudy in ECOTONE Minsil was successfully to the concrete columns at Martin Place Station using a combination of ground and boom access. Building on this foundation and as further protection ECOTONE Seal was then applied for graffiti resistance.
Outcome
This new underground Sydney Metro station is connected to the historic 1979 heritage-listed Martin Place Station for the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line, merging old and new to create a unique and efficient transportation hub. Our ECOTONE Minsil was the perfect choice to provide a consistent and natural concrete material finish to the internal columns. Overcoating with our clear ECOTONE Seal ensured these columns would be protected from graffiti strike by providing an easy clean solution.
